The Oaks Lakeside is a turn-of-the-century estate with the stunning Chippewa Lake as its backdrop. Couples looking for a special, one-of-a-kind setting can use our waterfront venue's restaurant and event spaces.

Facilities and Capacity - Couples can celebrate their wedding day with up to 200 guests. The lake serves as the backdrop for enchanting ceremonies held at the circular waterfront Pagoda. Our exclusive event space has two floors, windows along the back wall that look out onto the lake, lush gardens, and a covered terrace that is the ideal setting for cocktail hour and networking.

A-line wedding dresses

The Estate was originally named after the five large trees on the front lawn when it was established in the late 1800s. Soon, Five Oaks had a boathouse, a carriage house, a barn, and formal gardens. Stones from various parts of the world were used to build the two interior fireplaces. The estate was being used as a restaurant when it was purchased in 1961, and it was sold in 2003 after the second owner passed away. It became well-known as a wedding and event location on the shores of Lake Chippewa under its new ownership.
