Style #The Estate on Coffee Creek
Northeastern Ohio's Grand River Valley wine area is home to The Estate on Coffee Creek. Two gentlemen who had just returned from the California Gold Rush built The Estate around 1840. Building the home took approximately ten years and involved the use of tons of stone from the creek bed that gave the house its name, railroad rails, and hand-carved beams.
The Estate has housed prospectors, gentlemen farmers, steam engine manufacturers, an antique auctioneer, a safe haven for the Underground Railroad, and was the setting for the Betty Davis film "The Dark Secret of Harvest Home" over the years.
In order to realize your vision for your wedding day, executive chef and proprietor Nicholas Kustala now combines old world charm with new world elegance. Providing full service, The Estate on Coffee Creek is a wedding and event planner. With more than 25 years of experience, our proprietor, Chef Nicholas Kustala, approaches each of his events individually.
We encourage you to schedule a meeting with Nick to go through every detail of your event. Our events are created to meet your special day's vision. We have a terrific team and a list of recommended providers that can help you plan, organize, and make your upcoming event absolutely amazing.
Once you find your wedding venue, it is easier to imagine your dream wedding dress. Imagine entering the venue arm-in-arm with all your guests’ eyes upon you. Your first dance awaits you. What is your wedding gown style, A-line, boho, ballgown, mermaid, or other silhouettes?
With your venue date set, a few quick yet fun decisions are needed to coordinate the wedding date. Be sure to schedule your ceremony location soon, too. Looking for alternative wedding ceremony locations? Perhaps, a local park or beach is the spot to exchange your vows and capture memories. The journey ahead is bound to fill with excitement and joy. Wedding photographers can book a year in advance of your wedding date, so be sure to hire a wedding photographer in short order that meets your vision and personality. And, of course, let’s remember your out-of-town wedding guests. Let them know that you researched their accommodation options, whether a hotel or a private rental house, as the guests, will appreciate this.
Finally, an easy and momentous step of your wedding planning – get your official wedding license.
